Abstract

Real problems invariably involve multiple, conflicting objectives whereas traditional techniques assume a single objective. In this paper we present an approach to the modeling, analysis and control of large-scale multiobjective systems. To illustrate the methodology, a recent study of the impact of sulfur dioxide emission limits on utility coal supply policies is discussed.
