Positive and Negative Ionic Reactions at the Carbonyl Bond in the Gas Phase

  • Chapter
Ion Cyclotron Resonance Spectrometry

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Chemistry ((LNC,volume 7))

Abstract

Ion molecule interactions have been studied from many different aspects, such as the reaction kinetics of single systems, types and mechanism of reactions, the chemistry of specific ions with various groups of compounds etc. Most of these studies concentrated on either the positive or the negative ion chemistry.
