Zusammenfassung

Nach neuerlichen Erhebungen von Irnich [10] werden zur Zeit bei mehr als 90% der Kranken, die der permanenten Elektrostimulation des Herzens bedürfen, sog. Bedarfsschrittmacher und unter diesen hauptsächlich R-Zacken-inhibierte Reizgeneratoren über trans venöse Ventrikelelektroden implantiert. Was die rein chirurgischen Maßnahmen angeht, bedeutet dieses Vorgehen zwar den geringsten Zeit- und Operationsaufwand, unter hämodynamischen Gesichtspunkten ist dieser besonders hohe Prozentsatz künftig sicher nicht mehr vertretbar.
