Abstract

Between July 1985 and November 1986 161 consecutive control patients, and 163 consecutive test patients, were studied. Patient categories were as outlined in the abstract by Alcock in Part 3: Clinical Studies. Antibiotic sensitivity testing was performed by a standardized disc diffusion method.
