Water Suitability for Agriculture

  • Chapter
Management of Water Use in Agriculture

Part of the book series: Advanced Series in Agricultural Sciences ((AGRICULTURAL,volume 22))

Abstract

Both crop and animal production are water-dependent. The quality and quantity of water used in agriculture are two interrelated properties controlling the production capacity of the land and the quality of the environment and the water resources.
