Zusammenfassung

Die Frage um die Wirkfaktoren in der Psychotherapie stellt das derzeit herausragende Thema — zumindest auf dem Gebiet der Psychotherapieforschung — dar (Bozok u. Bühler 1988; Butler u. Strupp 1986; Enke u. Czogalik 1990; Kächele 1988). Nach Jahren der vergleichenden Wirksamkeitsforschung tritt an die Stelle konkurrierender Bestrebungen und nach der für einige bitteren Erkenntnis, daß die anderen auch gewonnen haben (Luborsky et al. 1975; Grawe 1988), verstärkt das Bemühen, die Prozeßforschung mehr in den Mittelpunkt zu rücken, um die tatsächlichen Wirkmechanismen des therapeutischen Veränderungsprozesses identifizieren zu können (Greenberg u. Pinsof 1986). Die vergleichende Therapieforschung hat nicht die Überlegenheit einer speziellen Behandlungsform über irgendeine andere erbringen können, sondern eher ein anwachsend ähnliches Muster nichtsignifikanter Ergebnisse (Bergin u. Lambert 1978; DiLoreto 1971; Kernberg et al. 1972; Sloane et al. 1975; Smith et al. 1980; Strupp u. Hadley 1979).
