Zusammenfassung

Ätiologie und Pathogenese entzündlicher und ulzerativer Magen-Darm- Erkrankungen sind letztendlich nicht geklärt. Durch Mastzellen vermittelte anaphylaktische Reaktionen stellen einen möglicherweise wichtigen pathogenetischen Faktor in der Entstehung dieser Läsionen dar. Aus Tiermodellen ist bekannt, daß Mastzellen einen Einfluß auf Induktion und Unterhaltung chronisch entzündlicher Veränderungen im Magen-Darm-Trakt haben. Mehrere Beobachtungen untermauern dies: der Nachweis einer Mastzellhyperplasie in entzündlichen Läsionen bei der Colitis ulcerosa oder dem Ulcus duodeni [2], ultrastrukturelle und biochemische Zeichen einer lokalen Mastzellaktivierung in den Läsionsbereichen sowie die Vielfalt der möglichen Auswirkungen von Mastzellmediatoren und deren Antagonisten auf die Magen-Darm-Schleimhaut [7].
