Zusammenfassung

Mit den folgenden Ausführungen möchte ich mich bewußt auf immunologische Aspekte der Sterilität — unter der wir die Unfähigkeit der Gametenvereinigung verstehen — beschränken, während der angloamerikanisch geprägte Begriff Infertilität bei uns ja die Unfähigkeit, ein lebendes Kind zu gebären, bedeutet. Die Ätiologie von 1620 Sterilitätspatientenehepaaren, die wir in den Jahren 1980–1985 an der Universitäts-Frauenklinik in Kiel behandelten, teilte sich wie folgt auf (Abb. 1).
