Zusammenfassung
Die Bestimmung von Plasmakatecholaminen aus peripherem Venenblut ist eine nicht unumstrittene [1,2], aber weitverbreitete Methode [3,4] die sympatho-adre- nale Aktivität abzuschätzen. Aus kinetischen Gründen sind zentralvenöse und/oder arterielle Katecholamine verläßlicher [1,5] aber aus praktischen und ethischen Gründen, besonders in der Sportmedizin, kaum zugänglich. Als Alternative bieten sich kapilläre Katecholamine an [1,6,7], deren Eignung wir unter Labor- und Feldbedingungen näher untersucht haben.
