Abstract

The composition of cellular lipids (e.g. platelets, leukocytes) is affected by manipulations of dietary fat and/or pathological states, such as hyperlipidemias or other lipid metabolic disorders. As a result, functional parameters are modified, possibly as a consequence of altered eicosanoid production.
