Abstract

Neuroblastoma sympathicum represents 10%–15% of all malignant tumors in children. The annual incidence is estimated at 9 per million children under 15 years of age [9]. Although its appearance is scattered throughout childhood, diagnosis is made within the first 12 months of life in one-third of patients and in the 2nd and 3rd years of life in another one-third (Fig. 1).
