Zusammenfassung

Das Hirnparenchym wird im B-Mode mit annähernd gleichmäßiger Echotextur dargestellt. Zunehmender Reifegrad führt zu einem dichteren Echomuster. Bei extrem unreifen Neugeborenen weisen nur die rindennahen und periventrikulären Hirnstrukturen Zonen höherer Echogenität auf und treten dadurch besonders hervor.
