Zusammenfassung
In diesem Beitrag stellen wir ein neues Verfahren zur positions-, rotations- und skalierungsinvarianten Erkennung von Grauwertobjekten vor, das auf der Berechnung lokaler anstelle der sonst üblichen globalen Fourier-Mellin (FM) Koeffizienten basiert. Die Beträge der Koeffizienten bilden einen Merkmalsvektor, der ein fovealisiertes Grauwertobjekt rotations- und skalierungsinvariant charakterisiert. Durch die neue Formulierung der FM-Transformation in diskreten, kartesischen Koordinaten kann der Merkmalsvektor bezüglich jeder Bildposition schnell berechnet werden. So wird ein gesuchtes Grauwertobjekt durch Vergleichen des dazugehörigen, gespeicherten Merkmalsvektors mit den an jeder Position des zu untersuchenden Bildes berechneten Merkmalsvektoren invariant erkannt. Neben der bekannten Position kann die Orientierung und die Skalierung des gefundenen Objektes aus den komplexen Frequenzkomponenten zurückgewonnen werden. Erste Erkennungsergebnisse verdeutlichen die Leistungsfähigkeit unseres Verfahrens.
