Zusammenfassung
Stationäre und tagesklinische Behandlungsabschnitte sind dann indiziert, wenn eine ambulante Therapie aufgrund der körperlichen Gefährdung, der Schwere und Komplexität der Essstörungssymptomatik oder begleitender Probleme nicht ausreichend ist. Sie sollten Teil eines Gesamtbehandlungsplanes sein. Stationäre und tagesklinische Behandlungen ermöglichen ein interdisziplinäres, multimodales Vorgehen, bei welchem Einzel- und Gruppentherapie, Körpertherapie, Familien-/Paargespräche, Essbegleitung, medizinische Betreuung und die Unterstützung durch einen Sozialdienst kombiniert werden können. Sie spielen v. a. in der Behandlung der Anorexia nervosa eine bedeutsame Rolle.
