Abstract
Recently, patients frequently visit the hospital after acquiring some information about their disease and the hospital from the Internet. Many people think that hemorrhoidectomy is a simple operation, but the surgeon should evaluate the patient including high-risk group thoroughly before surgery and explain the nature of disease, course, and the possibility of postoperative complications in detail.
