Zusammenfassung

Bei den Urothelkarzinomen werden Tumoren des unteren Harntraktes (Harnblase, Urethra) von Tumoren des oberen Harntraktes (Nierenbecken und Ureter) unterschieden. Das Auftreten korreliert mit der urothelialen Oberfläche: ca. 90–95% der Urothelkarzinome sind in der Harnblase und ca. 5–10% im oberen Harntrakt lokalisiert. Dieser Beiträg beschäftigt sich mit den Nierenbeckenkarzinomen sowohl als auch mit den Harnleiterkarzinomen im Hinblick auf Risikofaktoren, Diagnose, onkologische Kennzeichen, Therapie, Prognose und Nachsorge.
