Zusammenfassung

Bei der assistierten Reproduktion (ART) handelt es sich um eine nicht lebensnotwendige Behandlung von Patienten, die, abgesehen vom unerfüllten Kinderwunsch, in aller Regel der Fälle gesund sind. Da die Kinderwunschbehandlung nicht frei von Risiken ist, müssen die Patienten neben den Chancen der Therapie aufgrund eben dieser Situation – einer nicht lebensnotwendigen Behandlung – ausführlich über die Risiken aufgeklärt werden.
