Abstract
The textile variations and characteristics of the plastic meshes are directly related to their performance in host tissue and to the complex interactions at the cellular level that make up the dynamic process of inflammation, foreign body reaction, and ultimate healing of the wound in which these biomaterials were used for augmentation.
