Zusammenfassung

Vor dem Hintergrund einer generell zunehmenden Sicherheit viszeralchirurgischer Eingriffe - zurückzuführen auf verbesserte chirurgische Techniken und auf die Errungenschaften der Intensivmedizin - konnten in den letzten 20 Jahren auch Morbidität und Letalität nach Magenkarzinomoperationen deutlich gesenkt werden. Dies gilt in besonderer Weise für die resezierenden Verfahren:

  • — subtotale distale Magenresektion,

  • — Gastrektomie.
