Zusammenfassung
Tribologische Systeme spielen bei der Leistungsübertragung und in Fertigungsprozessen eine wesentliche Rolle. Neben ihrer Leistungsfähigkeit bewirken sie auch ein ökologisches und ökonomisches Zusammenspiel in technischen Systemen. Das hieraus entstehende Gleichgewicht wird jedoch durch ein hohes ökotoxikologisches Risikopotential bei Verwendung mineralölbasierter und mit Additiven versehener Zwischensubstanzen beeinflusst. Aufgrund von Leckage können diese Zwischenstoffe in die Umwelt gelangen und dort Schäden verursachen. Darüber hinaus entsteht infolge unsachgemäßer Handhabung eine enorme Vergeudung von Ressourcen [Mang01].
