Zusammenfassung

Nach einer Darstellung der Anatomie zerebraler und spinaler Blutgefäße werden Grundmuster der vaskulären Neuropathologie besprochen (zerebrale Hypoxie, Hirninfarkt, selektive Vulnerabilität, Neuroprotektion, Hirntod etc). Daran schließt sich die Pathologie neurovaskulärer Krankheitsbilder an (regionale und globale Ischämien, intrakranielle Blutungen, Aneurysmen, Arteriosklerose, Mikroangiopathien, Amyloidangiopathie, Vaskulitiden, Thrombosen, Hirnödem).
