Zusammenfassung

Das Spektrum reicht von den akuten Erkrankungen — gekennzeichnet durch Leberzellnekrose mit Einschränkungen der Entgiftungs- und Syntheseleistung bis hin zum akuten Leberversagen — über die chronischen Schädigungen mit Störungen der Transportmechanismen in den Hepatozyten, Leberzellverfettung, bindegewebigem Ersatz des Leberparenchyms und Umbau im Sinne der Leberzirrhose bis zur Entwicklung ortsständiger Tumoren oder Infiltration durch Metastasen primär extrahepatischer Erkrankungen.
