Zusammenfassung
Unter Nucleosiden versteht man N-Glycoside bestimmter heterocyclischer Verbindungen, der Nucleobasen. Zu den wichtigsten Nucleosiden gehören die Bestandteile der Nucleinsäuren. Hierbei handelt es sich um N-Riboside bzw. N-2'- Desoxyriboside von Pyrimidin- und Purinderivaten. Uracil, Thymin und Cytosin leiten sich vom Pyrimidin-, Adenin und Guanin vom Purin-Grundkörper ab.
