Talcott Parsons: Toward a General Theory of Action / The Social System

Zusammenfassung

In seiner Studie über Talcott Parsons’ Handlungstheorie resümiert Harald Wenzel: »Alles spricht vielmehr dafür, daß der – integrative – Kernbegriff der Theorie Gefühl bzw. Affekt ist.« (Wenzel 1990: 467) Dies widerspricht einer gängigen Lesart der Theorie, welche vielmehr den normativ-moralischen Charakter der Theorie in den Mittelpunkt rückt1, sowie ebenso sehr dem Umstand, dass Parsons als Theoretiker der Emotionen in den einschlägigen Übersichtsberichten zur Emotionssoziologie wie auch Forschungsarbeiten bestenfalls am Rande vorkommt.
