Zusammenfassung

Reza kam aus dem Iran zum Studium nach Deutschland. Zusammen mit seinen deutschen Kommilitonen lernte und schwitzte er vor den Klausuren und feierte danach. An einem Abend wurde ihm jedoch der Zutritt zu einer Diskothek aufgrund seiner Herkunft verwehrt; seine Freunde feierten ohne ihn weiter. Nach dem Ingenieursstudium bewarben sich Reza und seine deutschen Freunde für einen Arbeitsplatz. Alle hatten sie gleich gute Noten und Qualifikationen. Lediglich Rezas Name wies bei der Bewerbung auf seinen Migrationshintergrund hin. Er schrieb jedoch viermal so viele Bewerbungen wie seine deutschen Kommilitonen, bevor er zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch eingela den wurde. Als bei seinem Arbeitgeber Personal abgebaut werden musste, verlor er als erster seinen Arbeitsplatz. Als er Unterstützung von seinen alten Freunden hätte gebrauchen können, kannten sie ihn nicht mehr.
