Zusammenfassung
Im Unterschied zu den bisher vorgestellten Perspektiven auf die Erklärung von Vorurteilen, Diskriminierung und Toleranz nimmt die Persönlichkeitspsychologie einen anderen Blickwinkel ein: Konsistente und stabile (d.h. über Situationen und Zeit hinweg relativ unveränderte) verhaltensrelevante Unterschiede zwischen Personen stehen im Zentrum der Untersuchung und Erklärung. Diese Perspektive ist eine wichtige Ergänzung sozial-, allgemein- und entwicklungspsychologischer Analysen und eröffnet bedeutsame Fragestellungen für die gezielte Veränderung von Vorurteilen und diskriminierenden oder toleranten Verhaltensweisen.
