Zusammenfassung
Mit der wachsenden Bedeutung des Internet für die Abwicklung von Transaktionen gewinnt die Auseinandersetzung mit den Potenzialen, Chancen und Risiken der Online-Marktforschung zunehmend an Bedeutung für die Marketingforschung und -praxis. Folgt man der klassischen Unterteilung von Verfahren der Informationsgewinnung zu Zwecken einer Primärerhebung in der Marktforschungsliteratur, kann grundsätzlich zwischen der Befragung und der Beobachtung unterschieden werden (vgl. Henze, 1994, S. 22; Berekoven/Eckert/Ellenrieder, 1999, S. 93).
