Zusammenfassung
Wenn man von Integration spricht, muss die Einheit benannt werden, auf die sich der Prozess der Integration bezieht. Die Integrationsleistung von Verfassungen und Verfassungsgerichtsbarkeit bezieht sich auf ein verfassungsrechtlich konstituiertes Gemeinwesen, im vorliegenden Falle jenes der USA. Die Frage lautet, inwieweit die Verfassung der USA und die Institution, die die Verfassung verkörpert, der Supreme Court, zur Integration des Gemeinwesens USA beitragen kann und dies in der Praxis auch tun.
