Abstract
Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA) is a mesenchymal neoplasm of irregular, hyperproliferative vasculature embedded within a fibrous stroma. Histologically, vessels range from slit-like to widely dilated and lack normal smooth musculature, making them delicate and prone to bleeding (Beham et al, Eur Arch Otorhinolaryngol 254(4):196–199, 1997).
