Abstract
Lower urinary tract injuries can occur during any surgical procedure in the pelvis. A comprehensive assessment of these patients in a timely fashion is important. Close collaboration between both urologists and gynaecologists will provide the most effective resolution of any such problems. This is discussed based on contemporary evidence relating to this topic.
