Zusammenfassung
Obschon die Mitglieder am Symposium über Sportsoziologie theoretische und methodische Grundlagen liefern sollten, sind doch einige Beiträge eingegangen, die sich ausschliesslich oder mindestens teilweise mit erkenntnistheoretischen Fragen befassen. Dies ist bestimmt ein Hinweis auf die Bedeutung der erkenntnistheoretischen Dimension und auf die unbedingt berechtigte Einsicht, dass erkenntnistheoretische Diskussionen und Abklärungen Voraussetzungen sind zu effektiver Aktivität, sei es nun in der Theorie, in der Forschung oder in der wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse anwendenden Praxis.
