Abstract
In addressing the current challenges and charting a path forward for graphene-bearing polymer composites in applications related to electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and flame-retardant materials, this chapter highlights both achievements and critical areas for advancement. Key conclusions emphasize the transformative potential of these composites while acknowledging persistent hurdles in cost-effectiveness and scalability. Prospects for future research are delineated, focusing on optimizing composite properties, exploring novel synthesis methods, and identifying multifunctional applications. This synthesis provides a comprehensive overview of the field’s general summary, offering insights into the dynamic landscape of materials science. The chapter outlines a promising trajectory for developing and utilizing graphene-based polymer composites by navigating challenges and leveraging opportunities.
