Abstract

Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) continues to develop and define itself as a leader in the care of hospitalized children. This revision seeks to summarize the latest evidence-based practices for common diagnoses in hospital medicine, including acute viral bronchiolitis, urinary tract infections, neonatal fever, brief resolved unexplained event (BRUE), COVID-19, multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), acute hematogenous osteomyelitis, and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia.
