Abstract
Advanced nanomaterials, including nanobiochar, have provided long-term sustainable solutions for a number of contemporary challenges. Due to their special qualities and wide range of applications in industries including energy, agriculture, materials, and environment, particularly in the remediation of organic and inorganic pollutants. Biochar nanostructured materials have been produced as a result of integrated biochar technology and nano-biotechnology, revolutionizing the study of relevant subjects. Giving detailed and current information about the production procedure is the main aim of this chapter. This chapter also highlights the chemical and biological methods used for nanobiochar production and also provides insight into the application of nanobiochar in several environmental domains, such as soil amendment, removal of contaminants, catalysts, and fuel additives.
