Abstract
A 49-year-old male, presented with chronic headache, was treated with upfront (primary); Linac-based SRS for left tentorial hiatus meningioma. The target volume of 5.9 cc received a marginal dose of 12.0 Gy normalized to 80% isodose line. At 24 months post-SRS: the patient reported complete resolution of headache. Serial post-SRS follow-up MRIs showed that both tumor size and tumor contrast enhancement were unchanged. At last follow-up (146 months post-SRS), MRI showed a mild decrease in tumor size and contrast enhancement. The upfront radiosurgery treatment achieved local tumor control and the patient remained asymptomatic and neurologically intact.
