Abstract
Mobile communication has been deployed as an important form of communication by transnational businesses as well as by individuals throughout the world. While it has performed wonders for individuals, societies, and nations worldwide, it has also created numerous challenges or issues. This paper surveyed and discussed six of such challenges or issues: interruption of traditional business models, threats to privacy, cyberbullying, unethical behavior in the workplace, undesirable impact of texting, and online piracy.
