Abstract
The introduction outlines key lessons described by experiential learning (EL) educators in the various case studies, reflections, and strategies contained in the collection. These lessons offer important insights about the meaning and impact of EL for students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Methods for designing, facilitating, expanding, and assessing different EL activities and programs, including community-engaged learning, internships, education abroad, and more, are also highlighted in the context of the broader field of EL and the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
