Abstract
Most people in the UK and US do not get enough exercise. Children are not exercising asmuch as their parents or grandparents did, and this is partly due to less emphasis placed on competitive sports in schools, today’s sedentary, lazy lifestyle of watching TV and playing computer and video games, and less opportunities to participate in team sports.
