Abstract
One of the earliest and most obvious symptoms of human exposure to polychlorinated dibenzodioxins is the skin condition called chloracne. This is an extremely disfiguring skin disease. In mild forms of the disease individuals are affected by numerous small blackheads; however, in some cases the disease is characterized by the appearance of large pustules and cysts.
