Abstract
Community Psychiatry has been considered as an effective alternative to traditional mental hospitalization in the postwar era1. Community mental health services “provide a complete new range of care in the community, with strong emphasis on prevention”2 and as Foley3 points out “the impact of the Community Mental Health Center movements has been felt in all sectors of the psychiatric profession, both public and private”.
