A Model for Partially Polarized Quantum Hall States

Abstract

We discuss effective field theories for partially polarized quantum Hall states, and propose a new model with spin-dynamics very similar to that of the fully polarized states. In particular we give a heuristic derivation of the spin wave spectrum.
