Abstract
Several frameworks and platforms are used for learning or for building virtual environments for game-based learning. In games based on virtual worlds an enormous amount of knowledge is exchanged. But we believe compared to games stories provide more explicit knowledge transfer. For that reason we developed an Interactive Digital Storytelling (IDS) Platform called Scenejo, which we use to build examples for different learning showcases. We present our first experiences and discuss challenges for the successful building of interactive storytelling applications.
