Abstract
In this paper a concept is presented of how to link instructional material in the context of a hyper-media learning environment, thus creating a hyper-CAI system. Basically, since it is similar to existing non-CAI ‘hyper-’ systems, it allows to create individual paths for different user-groups and various ways of non-linear linkage of chunks of information. Additionally, it provides a concise interface to the contents of hypermols (as we call the highly independent chunks of lesson material) which are coded in a special new language supporting the tour concept. In particular, conditional branching based on a variety of events is possible.
