Abstract

We present VLT/NAOS-CONICA (NACO) dual imaging polarimetric observations of TW Hya, a Classical T Tauri star in the nearby (57 pc) TW Hydrae association. We have made use of the Wollaston prism available with NACO to image the circumstellar matter around this object. As a result, we have been able to detect its circumstellar disk as close as ~15 AU from the central object. The polarized intensity profile together with the polarization map of the disk have been derived.
