Abstract
We present a model machinery for the generation of aggregating views of knowledge, the coupling of localized knowledge, and for carrying out metaobservations, which record the dynamics of a knowledge generating system. The machinery is based on the only assumption, that we can monitor events in a system. Thus it applies to all e-business applications with client/server computing.
