About the editors

Dr. Haritha Sagili is a Professor at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in Puducherry, India. She holds  degrees of MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry, India. She has been honoured by many awards and fellowships in her entire academic career. She has successfully completed several research projects on GDM and PCOS. Dr. Sagili has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. She has authored approx. 100 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals from India and abroad.

 

Dr. Jayaprakash Sahoo (MD, DM) did his Endocrinology training from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He is currently working as an Additional professor in the Department of Endocrinology at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. He has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals and has written five book chapters. He has also delivered both oral and posters presentations at various national and international conferences. He serves as the editorial board member of the "World Journal of Diabetes" and is a peer reviewer of many journals. He has also organized many CMEs & conferences.He was awarded Prof. MMS Ahuja Award for the best DM student in Endocrinology in the year 2010. He also got the Endocrine Society of India AV Gandhi award 2018 & 2021 for student dissertations and the JIPMER Scientific Society Award 2019 for the best original paper. 

Dr. Swaramya Chandrasekaran is Associate Professor at Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Puducherry. Following her MBBS degree, she completed her MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry and subsequently underwent further trainingin Endoscopic surgeries. She has been a recipient of many awards of excellence throughout her academic career, including the Apollo gold medal for excellence in Medicine. Dr.. Chandrasekaran is keenly involved in academic endeavours at National and International conferences, which include lecture presentations and research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her special areas of research include PCOS and Metabolic syndrome. She has been extensively involved as Chief Advisor in healthcare startups for integrating Artificial intelligence in the management of chronic metabolic diseases.
