About the authors
Mykola Borzenkov received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, Ukraine. The Ph.D. thesis “Synthesis and properties of surface active monomers based on derivatives of based on derivatives of hydroxy and amino carboxylic acids” were carried out under supervision of prof. Orest Hevus. At present time M. Borzenkov is a research assistant at Department of Physics at University of Milan-Bicocca (Milan, Italy). His main research fields are synthesis and application of functional surface active monomers, synthesis, functionalization and biomedical application of gold nanoparticles.
Orest Hevus is a professor of Organic Chemistry. From 1979 to the present he has been working at Lviv Polytechnic National University. His research field is synthesis of functional surface active peroxides and monomers.
