About the editors
Julia Neidhardt is a researcher at the Faculty of Informatics at TU Wien, Austria. She has a background in mathematics and computer science, and her research interests include picture-based travel recommender systems, predictive models of touristic behavior and peer influence in online social networks. Dr. Neidhardt has published over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. She was co-chair of the Workshop on Recommenders in Tourism (RecTour) at the ACM RecSys Conference in the last four years and research track co-chair of ENTER 2019.
Wolfgang Wörndl is a senior researcher and lecturer at the Department of Informatics at TU Munich (TUM), Germany. He obtained diploma degrees in both computer science and business and holds a doctoral degree in computer science from TUM. His current research focuses on interactive recommender systems in mobile scenarios such as travel and tourism. He co-organized and served as program committee member for a large number of journals, conferences and workshops, e.g. local chair of ACM MobiSys 2018 and co-chair of the Workshop on Recommenders in Tourism (RecTour) at the ACM RecSys Conference.
