Abstract
A stimulus previously trained as an SD generated both water-reinforced responding and drinking when presented to rats satiated for water during the former SA condition. The results could not be attributed to the passage of time inherent in the satiation criterion, nor to specific stimulus properties of the SD. proDaDiiity oi occurring.
