Abstract

In this paper, separation of stress waves passing through the solid-gas media boundary is considered. The kinematic and dynamic conditions characterizing the interrelationship between the particle and wave velocities as well as the values of deformations in solid and gaseous media are found. Also presented are the equations for reflected and transmitted waves.
